SIMON COWELL is plotting changes for the next season of “The X Factor” … if there is a next season. Cowell says “X Factor'' may be cut back to one night instead of two. He's also thinking about new judges.

Country music Hall of Famer RAY PRICE passed away yesterday at his home in Texas following a battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was 87.  His Grammy winning version of KRIS KRISTOFFERSON'S "For The Good Times" was a huge crossover hit back in 1970. 

LAMAR ODOM'S 15-year-old daughter Destiny isn't heartbroken over her dad's impending divorce from KHLOE KARDASHIAN.  During an online chat she said, quote, "No one thought they were going to last, so honestly, who [cares]?"

DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON is the year's top-grossing actor.  His movies, included "Fast & Furious 6" and the latest "G.I. Joe" flick.  ROBERT DOWNEY JR. is second thanks to "Iron Man 3"

In a new documentary on MICHAEL JACKSON that's in the works, Michael's father JOE says that Michael's youngest son Blanket can be the NEW Michael . . . if he's TRAINED. 

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2014 last night.  The honorees are KissNirvanaPeter GabrielHall & OatesLinda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens

JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS and JAY LENO are being inducted into the TV Hall of Fame. DAVID E. KELLEY also gets in for creating “Ally McBeal,” “The Practice,” “Boston Legal,” “Boston Public,” “Chicago Hope'' and other shows.
